As part of our Glastir Woodland Management plan we have cleared an area of mainly sycamore regrowth and replanted, with the help of several Volunteer groups, a new coppice woodland.  This comprises a large coupe of sweet chestnut, followed by hazel and osier willows and a small area of lime.  This will provide a renewable resource for Green Crafts for decades to come – the first harvest of willow is now cut ready for work!
